LANDIKOTAL: A minor girl died on the spot after being struck by a speedy coach on Tuesday, the angry protesters who were the relatives of the baby staged a protest and demanded the building of a speed breaker near the market.
According to details, a passenger coach at Wasif Shinwari square on Landikotal bypass hit a minor girl Maimoona(5), the daughter of Imran Khuga Khel whose head received critical injuries and died on the sport.
After the sad incident, the relatives of the unlucky girl blocked the bypass and demanded to build a speed breaker in front of the market where the coach has crashed the girl.
The sources said that the vehicle had run over the head of the small girl who had come to the relative’s home for participating in a marriage ceremony.
The careless driver has been shifted to Landikotal lock-up. Sources said.
Later, the Khasadar official Ishrat Shinwari reached the spot and talked with the bereaved family assuring them that he would discuss the issue with the relevant authorities to construct speed breakers.
The protesters reopened the road and dispersed peacefully after holding talks with the administration officials.
