LANDIKOTAL: An Afghan national hanged himself after he heard that his fiance` committed suicide on the same day in Landikotal Adilkhad village in Landikotal, official sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that an Afghan citizen identified as Khan alias Khany was engaged with an Afghan girl(J) six months ago. On Tuesday due for unknown reasons Khan’s fiance` hanged herself with the rope at her home in Adilkhad.
Later, as Khan was told about the death of his fiance within a few hours he also hanged himself in his room in Landikotal bazaar. However, the reasons behind the suicides could not be ascertained. The Police registered the case and started an investigation.
