LANDIKOTAL: Hina Qadeer, a self-taught creative artist who won 25 prizes in national and international competitions for Pakistan launched a global art platform where talented female artists could promote their work worldwide.
Talking to Fata Voice Hina Qadeer said creative power was a valuable and precious gift from Allah. She said creativity fosters enthusiasm and art becomes the source of that enthusiasm winning a number of prizes in 2019.
Hina won prizes in drawings, paintings, calligraphy, and arts and crafts. She said at the age of eight, she started her first artwork. She created many handmade items, including drawings, paintings, calligraphy, arts and crafts and wall hangings, which are still preserved today.
She said that in 2019, after completing courses in Fashion Design and Industrial Engineering at the National University of Technology in Islamabad, she won numerous physical and online art competitions and exhibitions in over 25 countries. She said after winning prizes she has encouraged and started her own business named La Maison D’art, an international art platform, where she supports talented artists and promotes their work worldwide.
Hina said she organized the first successful international online exhibition for Free Palestine, titled “The Reflection of Arts – Free Palestine 2024,” which featured 100 artists from over 21 countries.
She said recently she participated in the second national online art competition held in 2024 named “Who Will Be the Artist of Pakistan,” which involved a large number of individuals from various cities in Pakistan and abroad.
She said participants were awarded certificates, golden bronzes and diplomas. On the occasion of Independence Day, Hina Qadeer congratulated all her fellow countrymen and expressed her desire for more people to benefit from her services.
