RAWALPINDI: A terrorist was killed in a gunfight between security forces and militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan, the military’s media wing said on Sunday.
The ISPR statement said the terrorist gunned down by security forces was active members of the outlawed outfit in the area.
The IBO was launched by the security forces on the reported presence of the terrorists near the Boyya area in the North Waziristan District.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered during the operation, ISPR Added.
