CM KP visits Landikotal quarantine centre

LANDIKOTAL: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan paid a short visit to Landikotal and inspected the quarantine center set up in the district headquarters hospital in Landikotal, officials said on Wednesday.

Assistant commissioner of Landikotal Muhammad Imran told The News that CM Mehmood Khan paid a surprise visit to district headquarters where he thoroughly checked the isolation rooms and quarantine center.

Information secretary Ajmal Wazir, MPA Wilson Wazir, Chief secretary KP Dr. Kazim Niaz, Secretary relief Abid Majeed, commissioner Peshawar Amjad Ali Khan, and Capital City Police Officer(CCPO)Muhammad Ali were with chief minister Mehmood Khan.

Chief Minister was received by deputy commissioner Mehmood Aslam Wazir and commamdant Khyber Rifles Col, Bilal in Landikotal.

CM also inspected different wards and emergency units in the hospital. He met with the civil defense volunteers who told Mehmood Khan they will fight against Coronavirus to protect people’s life.

Medical Superintendent DHQ hospital Dr. Nek Dad Khan Afridi briefed CM Mehmood Khan. Dr. Nek Dad told the CM that they were prepared and had completed their necessary homework to control Corona outbreak.

Mehmood Khan showed satisfaction with the arrangements by health staff at the hospital to cope with Coronavirus.CM issued strict directives to health staff to ensure the best possible service delivery at the time of the epidemic.
