Rs 60M Distributed among martyred families in Khyber

LANDIKOTAL: In a heartfelt gesture of support, District Police Officer (DPO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal met with the families of martyrs, veterans and their children in Khyber and distributed cheques among them on Wednesday.

During the special ceremony, Rai Mazhar Iqbal distributed cheques of rupees 60 million among them.
DPO Iqbal engaged directly with the families, inquiring about their challenges and issuing immediate directives to address urgent issues.

He emphasized the commitment of the police force to stand by the families of martyrs, stating, “We are all part of one family.” The sentiment resonated strongly as the DPO highlighted the sacrifices made by the martyred families.

In addition to the financial assistance, Iqbal announced efforts to ensure the education and welfare of the martyrs’ children. He mentioned recent agreements with prominent educational institutions in the district to provide free educational facilities to these children, aiming to secure a brighter future.

The DPO reassured the families that their offices would always remain open to them, inviting ongoing dialogue to meet their needs.

“No effort will be spared to support the welfare of martyrs’ families,” he declared, reinforcing the importance of community and solidarity in times of need.
