SADDA: The situation in Kurram Agency is deeply concerning, with casualties and injuries resulting from the ongoing land dispute between Boshehra and Mali Khel, clashes.
According to the Sources, the conflict started four days ago between Boshehra and Mali Khel over a land dispute. Clashes have spilled to Piwar, Haar Kaly, Maqbal, Tangi, Kunj Ali Zai, Balish Khel and Para Chamkani Karman. Heavy and automatic weapons are being used in these skirmishes. the resulting in 15 fatalities and 70 injuries so far
This tense situation has resulted in the closure of the main road, and people are facing immense problems. Even Parachinar City and the business hub of Sadda Bazaar have come under missile and rocket attacks. Attempts have been initiated to stop firing; a peace jirga from Hangu and Orakzai is negotiating with the elders of both parties, but all in vain.
Sources confirmed that the situation is still very tense and the firing is still on.
