Three more tribal journalists tested positive for COVID19

LANDIKOTAL: Three more tribal journalists hailing from district Khyber, the newly merged tribal district of Pakistan, were tested positive for coronavirus that raised the number of coronavirus infected media persons to six in the district so far, heal officials confirmed on Tuesday.

Health officials in district Khyber said that with the rapid increase of coronavirus patients in the past one week three more journalists from Landikotal and Jamrud subdivisions were tested positive for coronavirus.

They said that the journalists with coronavirus were identified as Main Jan Afridi, Lal Zamer Afridi who were working for local newspapers while  Qazi Fazlullah, correspondent Geo television for district Khyber were tested positive for coronavirus.

DC Khyber Mehmood Aslam Wazir said that four other tribal journalists identified as Saeed Zaman, Amir Zada Afridi, Muhammad Akbar Afridi and Awal Sher Afridi were diagnosed with Covid-19 a weeks ago.
