PESHAWAR: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter on Monday elected Khalil Islam Khattak as president while Raz Muhammad Shinwari was chosen as general secretary for a lifetime.
General body meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa State Life Insurance Corporation was in Peshawar where the election was also conducted for the next three years.
A large number of office-bearers from all KP districts participated in the general body meeting in the election process.
Social and political worker Ferdus Khattak was the chief guest on the occasion.
The election process was held in a friendly environment following the health guidelines using sanitizers and observed social distancing.
Senior State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan officer Khalil Islam was elected as president while taking into consideration the outstanding performance and services for the department general body passed a unanimous resolution and chose Raz Muhammad Shinwari as general secretary for a lifetime.
Muhammad Nisar Khan was elected vice president, Asmatullah Awan was joint secretary and Nosherawan Khan was finance secretary for KP Insurance Corporation for the year 2020-23.
