WANA: Two minor sisters were killed and a child boy injured when an explosive device went off South Waziristan in Tribal Region.
According to sources the incident took place at Meshta village in District South Waziristan in Tribal Region.
where children were playing outside their homes when they hit the landmine. As a result of the explosion, Two minor sisters died on the spot while another boy child was injured.
The injured have been shifted to Peshawar Hospital.
The area was heavily mined during the Pak military operation Rah-e-Nijat against militants in North Waziristan Agency and South Waziristan in 2009. Such incidents have become common in the area for a long.
Hundreds of people including women and children have been killed and hundreds of people have lost their disabled due to landmines blast.
