MIRANSHAH: One terrorist was killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
According to ISPR, the operation carried out was initiated on intelligence reports in the Barkley area of Spinwam tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district.
One terrorist was killed in the operation while IED (improvised explosive device) making literature, SMG, hand grenades, spare magazines, and communication equipment were also recovered.
Similarly, in Balochistan, the FC conducted an IBO in the suburbs of Qilla Saifullah and Kahan near Mawand and foiled terrorist activity to sabotage peace in the province. Weapons and ammunition were recovered.
