Six Pakistani Soldiers Martyred in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Six soldiers of the Pakistan Army Tuesday embraced martyrdom after gallantly fighting terrorists during an intense exchange of fire in area Asman Manza of Upper South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, ISPR

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly four terrorists were sent to hell, while two terrorists were injured.

The ISPR statement added Six brave soldiers having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom after an intense exchange of fire.

The armed forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve. The area is being combed through to eliminate any other terrorists found in the region, ISPR added

Meanwhile, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has accepted responsibility for the attack through an official statement.
