LANDI KOTAL: Residents of various Landikotal localities and villages demonstrated on Sunday in opposition to unscheduled load-shedding in their areas.
The protest rally was attended by the local political leadership as well as citizens from all walks of life.
Protesters were holding black flags and carrying placards with slogans against Tesco and chanting slogans against Tesco and Landikotal grid station officials.
Addressing the occasion speakers JUI F leader Mufti Muhammad Ejaz Shinwari, Awami National Party Landikotal president Shah Hussain Shinwari, tehsil Chairman Shah Khalid Shinwari, JI leader Murad Hussain Afridi, PPP leader Shah Rehman Shinwari and others categorically opposed the prolonged and unscheduled power load shedding, claiming that they have been denied of the essential rights and services enjoyed by the rest of the country’s residents since the country’s inception.
