LANDIKOTAL: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr. Noorul Haq Qadri donated coronavirus checking kits and other items to the District Headquarters Hospital on Friday.
Flanked by PTI leader Haji Ameer Khan and Zakat committee chairman Maulana Ihsamullah Junaid, Dr. Noorul Haq Qadri inspected various departments at the hospital and met the health staff.
Qadri also met the hospital medical superintendent Dr. Nekdad Khan Afridi and handed him Corona-related items, including of 30 thermal scanner guns, 2000 surgical masks, dozens of sanitizers, 50 safety kits and 6,000 safety gloves.
Dr. Nekdad thanked the federal minister and said the items donated to him would be helpful to save the lives of Corona patients.
Meanwhile, the minister also distributed food items including flour, ghee, pulses and other edibles among deserving families in the Landikotal, Jamrud and Mulagori subdivisions of the Khyber district.
Talking to The News, the federal minister said that his team would soon hand over Corona-related items to hospitals in Mulagori and Jamrud.
