LANDIKOTAL: Improvised Explosive Device(IED) blast took place at the front gate of a private school in Landikotal, however no casualty was reported, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that unidentified people had planted a time explosive device at the front gate of Landikotal Public High School No-1 in Ashkhel village that went off at night No casualty was reported. The explosion damaged the school gate. Police reached the explosion site and collected the evidence.
It may be mentioned here that the school is owned by one Miram Kham Shinwari whose home was also targeted with the explosive device a week ago damaging his house gate in Landikotal.
A wave of fear spread among the residents after the explosion that was heard far and wide. Patents demanded that the government provide foolproof security to the schools in Lamdikotal. No group or individual yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
