Landikotal police registerted 422 FIRs in 2024

LANDIKOTAL: The Landikotal police on Wednesday said they issued clearance reports to 2,211 individuals travelling abroad in 2024 and received 342 character certificates.

Additional station house officer Azmat Wali Shinwari said that during the year, they have recorded 85 First Information Reports(FIRs) in various cases, including mobile theft.
Additionally, he said FIRs were lodged for various other cases, including 121 cases of driving licenses, 188 cases of national identity cards, 8 cases of vehicle documents, 2 cases of electricity meter theft, 5 cases of service cards, 3 cases of firearm licenses, 2 cases of SIM cards, 1 case of land documents, 4 cases of educational documents, and 2 cases of vehicle number plates.

The police said they have successfully recovered 50 percent of the stolen mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners. He said the achievement was credited to the efforts of the investigation wing led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Musarrat Shinwari and Moharrar Khairullah Shinwari.
He said comprising experienced and educated officers, they have been commended for their professionalism and efficient handling of public grievances and applications.

Citizens have appreciated the staff’s friendly attitude and timely services, which have significantly improved public trust in the police department.

The police have also implemented reforms to streamline the application process for driving licenses, passports and identity cards, reducing delays and making these services more accessible. The transparent and efficient system introduced by the police has been widely appreciated by locals, who have found it easier to access services.
Furthermore, the police have actively engaged with the community through awareness campaigns and regular meetings to address crime prevention and ensure public safety.
