Gov will support inquiry into the death of former Senator Usman Kakar

PESHAWAR: Minister Azam Khan Swati says government will fully support inquiry into the death of former Senator Usman Khan Kakar.

Responding to point of order in the Senate session on Friday, Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati said the government will provide all resources to investigate the matter.
Earlier, Senator Sardar Muhammad Shafiq Tareen suggested forming an inquiry commission to probe the death of Usman Khan Kakar.
Senator Usman Kakar’s son Kushal Kakar is adamant that his father was murdered, while Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (pk map) leaders & members of parliament and Senators demanded an inquiry to determine the real cause of death of former senator Usman Khan Kakar.

PkMAP's former senator Usman Kakar passes away Senator Usman Khan Kakar received a head injury at his Quetta residence last week. According to his physician Dr. Samad Penzai, he was shifted to a hospital where he was operated on and put on a ventilator.
He was later shifted to Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi in an air ambulance where he succumbed to the injury.
