LANDIKOTAL: A suspicious person was shot injured and held by the security personnel at the Charwazgai area of Landikotal tehsil, sources said on Friday.
As per the sources, the Frontier Corps(FC) soldiers arrested a man identified as Khalij, a resident of Jamrud.
The sources said that the security personnel asked the man for his identity and tried to flee from them.
The security personnel shouted to hands up but he did not obey and opened a single gunshot on him. He received bullet injuries on his leg and was shifted to an unknown place for interrogation.
A pistol was also recovered from the possession of the arrested person, sources said.
