WANNA: A powerful explosion inside Maulana Abdullah Wazir Mosque in Azam Warsak Bazaar injured several people, including JUI South Waziristan Lower District Ameer Maulana Abdullah.
According to Sources, a remote-controlled bomb was placed near the mosque’s mihrab, detonating shortly before Friday prayers. The injured were swiftly shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Wana, where an emergency was declared.
Police and rescue teams reached the site, launching an operation. Security has been put on high alert following the targeted attack. Investigations are underway to determine those responsible.
