Defence minister visits Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: On the fifth day of the Sheikh Gul Sahib death a large number of people including defence minister visited the residence of federal minister doctor Noorul Haq Qadri inLandikotal for condolences, family sources said on Sunday.

The sources said that federal defence minister Pervez Khattak first arrived accompanied by commissioner Peshawar Shahab Ali Shah. He offered prayer for the departed soul and condoled to doctor Noorul Haq Qadri and former senator Hafiz Abdul Malik on their demise of his father.

Meanwhile, former governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra,

a minority member of Punjab province assembly Mahedar Pal Singh, MNA Zahid Durrani and Sardar Beshan Sing also arrived the Qadri residence and condoled the death of the federal minister.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader including Rahim Shah Mohmand, minority minister Wazirzada, former advisor to defence minister Saiful Islam, former MNA Hamidul Haq and other political and religious leaders paid their visits to Landikotal and offered their special prayers for the departsoul of Sheikh Gul Sahib.
