Customs authorities seized non-custom paid cigarettes

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Customs Enforcement Division in collaboration with Police and Thal Scouts seized a bulk of smuggled cigarettes in two different raids and apprehended the trucks, officials said on Sunday.

Sohail Khan, the custom spokesman told Fata Voice that a vehicle(NAE- 704) dumper truck and recovered 227 corton foreign-made Milano cigarettes from its cavities.

He said in another raid they also recovered 223 cartons of Milano cigarettes from another dumper truck (EA-1628) Dumper.
The value of the seized cigarettes in the open market is 125 million rupees.
