LANDIKOTAL: The Afghanistan ministry of defence on Wednesday has claimed that some 35 insurgents have killed in an Afghan air force airstrike in Southern Kandahar province.
According to Afghan media reports the airstrike was carried out in Nesh district of Kandahar to target the hideouts of anti-government elements.
According to the ministry of defence statement, thirty-five insurgents killed and some seven vehicles, weapons and ammunition were also destroyed in the Afghan national army (ANA) airstrike.
