LANDIKOTAL: The Afghanistan security forces have gained control over a key district in the northern Afghanistan ‘Faryab’ province. Radio Pakistan’s official website reported on Wednesday.

The report of Radio Pakistan said that after clashes between the Afghan national security forces and the Taliban, the Afghan security force succeeded in getting control of a key district in Faryab province.

The Afghan security forces have pushed back the Taliban cleared all the districts of militants and the government writ would be restored soon in the district. The report says quoting the statement of the Afghan defense ministry.
