A bomb blast near a bomb disposal squad killed a husband and his wife who were passing by, in the northern border region of North Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
According to sources, an explosion took place near a bomb disposal squad unit in the Sidgai region of Ghulam Khan Tehsil. A husband and his wife who were passing by tragically lost their lives due to the blast, while the disposal squad members, fortunately, emerged unscathed.
The detonation happened while the bomb disposal team was diligently examining the surroundings. Subsequent to the occurrence, security forces promptly sealed off the vicinity and initiated a thorough search operation.
