LANDIKOTAL: A woman and her two teenage sons died while three others were seriously injured when two cars head-on collided in the Khyber Sadokhel area on the Pak-Afghan highway in Landikotal, police said on Friday.
Landikotal police said both the cars were carrying families when reached Sadokhel locality and hit each other. As result, a woman and her two sons identified as Abdullah,18, and Tayyabullah,12 died on the spot while another woman and two others were also injured in the incident. The injured persons were rushed to Hayatabad medical complex due to their serious health conditions.
When three coffins of a mother and her sons were brought to the village all broke into tears.
The dead were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyard amid tragic scenes.
