Christian brothers embraced Islam in Khyber

DISTRICT KHYBER: Two Christian brothers, working with coronavirus-affected persons at a quarantine center in the Bara subdivision of district Khyber, embraced Islam on Saturday.

Khayalmat Shah Afridi, a local senior journalist based in militancy suffered Bara area of erstwhile Fata said that Yusuf Masih and his brother Waris Yusuf were working with their Muslim health staff at Dogra hospital quarantine center since the coronavirus pandemic spread in Pakistan.

According to Khayalmat Shah Afridi, both the Christian brothers were inspired by a health worker Gulab Shah and his team because they had dedicated their full time and efforts to fighting the coronavirus. He said willingly both the Christians asked the quarantine center head Gulab Shah if they want to convert to Islam and embraced Islam. They recited the Kalma Shahadat(the words which needed to be recited) to enter Islam. Their names were also changed to Abdusattar and Abdul Waris.
It may be mentioned here that the newly converted Muslims hail from Multan city of Punjab province in Pakistan. A few philanthropists also financially assisted the two on the spot
