Ghulam Khan: After Zarb-e-Azb launched by security forces against militants in North Waziristan, thousands of tribesmen from the area left the area and went to Afghanistan who returned from Afghanistan via Ghulam Khan border on Monday.

According to media reports some 50 families entered via the Ghulam Khan border and were received by the political administration and security force officials.

The authorities had set up food, medical and camp facilities for the TDPs of NW at Baka Khel.

It is to mention here that some weeks ago, when the TDPs of NW were returning from Afghanistan, the Afghan authorities did not allow them to enter Afghanistan and after Pak authorities hold negotiations with Afghanistan, they allowed the tribesmen to cross-enter in Pakistan via Ghulam Khan border.

According to media reports, the displaced tribesmen of NW were living in the Khost province of Afghanistan since the year when Zarb-e-Azb launched against militant groups in Waziristan.
