27 coronavirus patients recover in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL:27 people who recovered from coronavirus in Landikotal left today for their homes, officials said on Saturday.

Assistant commissioner Muhammad Imran Yusufzai and MS DHQ Landikotal hospital Dr. Nekdad Afridi told this scribe that the coronavirus patients were admitted with them for fourteen days. They said those left for their homes were from different parts of Pakistan. Muhammad Imran said the discharged persons were healthy however they advised them to keep distancing at their homes when they return. He said 59 other patients were in the isolation ward whose health was stable. He said around ten other persons were also home-quarantined in Landikotal.

“Complete healthy facilities are provided to the coronavirus patients at the isolation wards established at the district headquarters hospital in Landikotal”, said dr Nekdad Afridi. He added that they rime by time check the health condition of the admitted coronavirus patients and try their level best to minimize the death risk of the patients.

“I am hopeful that in the coming days more patients would recover and would be discharged from the isolation ward”,dr Nekdad said.
Talking to The News patients who recovered said the health staff were taking care of the patients and provided them with proper food and medicines. He said recovered and is now safe and sound.
