GHALLANAI: Unknown militants gunned down Two polio workers and three others were abducted in the Safi tehsil area of Mohmand Agency on Saturday.
According to Sources, the polio team comprising seven volunteers was attacked in the Safi tehsil of Mohmand agency by unidentified gunmen.
Two polio workers managed to escape the attack and reached Ghalanai, the headquarter of Mohmand Agency and informed about the incident
Attacks targeting polio teams were very frequent a few years back but following the military operation, their frequency has decreased over the last few years.
