Two FC personnel killed in Khyber IED explosion

BARA: At least two FC (Frontier Corps) soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near a security personnel vehicle in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the sources, the convoy of security forces was heading from Fort Slope to Ali Masjid Fort when the IED put on the roadside in the Malik Deen Khel region blew with a tremendous explosion, as a result of which the vehicle was entirely destroyed.
martyred officers were identified as Subedar Hazrat Gul and Naik Nazir, while the injured include Naik Muqarrab, Sipahi Haris, Sipahi Niaz, and Sipahi Wajib.
Soon after the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched an operation to eliminate any terrorists in the area.
So far, nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack.
