TTP commander killed in North Waziristan IBO

PESHAWAR: A terrorist commander was killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan tribal district, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security forces conducted an IBO in Mir Ali tehsil in North Waziristan, During intense fire, TTP terrorist commander Safiullah was killed.
The killed terrorist was active members of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and was improvised explosive device (IED) experts, terrorist trainers, motivators, and was involved in attacks on security forces.
Terrorist Safiullah was reportedly involved in the killing of four women of a non-governmental organization (NGO) in February 2021 and the targeted killing of Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) engineers in November 2020.
A huge cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered during the operation ISPR added.
