LANDIKOTAL: Two little squash players from newly merged tribal areas would represent Pakistan in an international junior squash championship held in New York USA from 15-18 December this month.
According to the officials of the squash team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal areas(Landikotal), Harish Khan Shinwari (19) and Abdul Ahad (11) have left for the USA on Wednesday would participate in an international squash event
Junaid Khan, director of general sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahid Shinwari, president of the Fata Olympic association, and Asad Khan, the president of Fata squash association called on the junior players of squash and congratulated them on being appointed as the team players of fata and KP regions.
The head coach of the team Falak Naz and assistant coach Alam Zeb said these players were selected for this international championship after passing through tough physical and technical training.
The coaches said they were hoping that the players will show the best performance in the event and would represent Pakistan in the USA as the peace ambassadors.
