Pakistan hosts Second Round of U.S.-Taliban Talks on Afghan Peace

ISLAMABAD: The next round of talks for Afghan Peace between Afghan Taliban and United States will be held in Islamabad Pakistan.

According to reports, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad, who is in Pakistan, has expressed wish to hold talks with Afghan Taliban in Islamabad. Pakistan accepted Zalmay’s request and decided to invite the Afghan Taliban to Islamabad for meeting with the US representative. The meeting would also be attended by officials of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Pakistan.
