LANDIKOTAL: A man died while two others including a pedestrian seriously injured when gunfire took place in Landikotal bazaar on Tuesday, police said.
Police officers Turab Khan and Ayaz Khan told this scribe by phone that the two parties first used harsh language and scuffled over a monitory dispute in the bazaar. They said according victim’s party statement Faizullah and Rizwan opened firing on them, leaving Owais Khan dead while his brother Tamash Khan and a pedestrian Aqeel Khan sustained bullet injuries. They were taken to the district headquarters hospital in Landikotal.
Police said they have arrested the accused Baitul Khan and Nadeem Khan and a case was registered against them.
