PESHAWAR: Demanding justice for Naqib Mehsud who was killed by Rao Anwar in an extra-judicial killing, hundreds of tribesmen and civil society members from the various parts of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have launched sit-in and protest demonstrations at the capital Islamabad from Thursday.
A local of Waziristan Abdul Qadeed Dawar said to this scribe that a large number of Waziristan had gathered on a lawn in front of the National Press Club of Islamabad.
He said the people of FATA want justice for Naqib and demanding the government arrest the killer ‘Rao Anwar’ who killed Naqib in a fake encounter.
The protesters are demanding the government arrest the killer ‘Rao Anwar’ and give exemplary punishment for killing a peaceful tribesman in South Waziristan.
It is to say that today is the second day of the protest demo of Pakhtoons from FATA and KP against the extra-judicial killing of Naqib Mehsud who was killed by Rao Anwar, the SSP of Malir Karachi.
The protesters are demanding the government arrest Rao Anwar and other personnel who were allegedly involved in the extra-judicial killing of Naqib Mehud during a fake encounter between police with militants.
According to a media report the martyred ‘Naqib Mehsud’ was fond of modelling and had a shop in Karachi.
