KHAR: A man was killed in a remote-controlled bomb blast in the Jorgha Asil Targhao area of Barang tehsil, Bajaur district, on Monday, police said.
According to officials, the victim was identified as Waliat Khan, son of Khial Gul. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bajaur, for medico-legal formalities.
Security forces and police rushed to the scene and launched an investigation into the attack. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
Bajaur, a tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has witnessed several attacks in recent years, raising concerns about the security situation in the region.
