Six soldiers — including Lt. Colonel, Muhammad Ali Shaukat were martyred in a firefight between security forces and terrorists in the Spenwam area of North Waziristan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
As reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a military operation took place during the night of October 4 and 5, aimed at the Spenwam area of North Waziristan A heavy exchange of fire followed, resulting in the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shaukat, who was leading the mission against the insurgents.
According to ISPR, 43-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shaukat, who was martyred, hailed from Faisalabad. His wife and three sons survive him.
The martyred soldiers include Lance Naik Muhammad Allah, aged 30, was from Khyber District, Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman, aged 30, was from Lakki Marwat, Lance Naik Shahidullah, aged 29, was from Tank District, Lance Naik Yousaf Ali, aged 31, was from Lower Orakzai, and Sepoy Jamil Ahmed, aged 26, was from Swat District.
