Food packages distributed among martyred families

LANDIKOTAL: Officials on Thursday food packages among orphans whose parents had sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

A distribution ceremony was arranged in Police lines ShahKas in Jamrud where district police officer Wasim Riaz distributed packages of different edibles
among the orphans of the police force.

Speaking to the media DPO Wasim Riaz said
the sacrifices rendered by Khasadars, levies, and police soldiers gave lives and defended the motherland. He said they salute those who did not compromise and fight against all anti-Pakistan elements. He said they would not leave the siblings of the martyred would be left alone and would provide the best possible life needs.

Wasim said that gone are the days when residents were worried to come out of their homes. He said peace has been restored and social evils had been flushed out of the region. He pledged that soon the martyred of the police force from erstwhile Fata would receive the same package given in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.

Additional deputy commissioner Noor Ali and DPO Wasim distributed food packages among 137 martyred families hailing from district Khyber.
