Customs Quetta Seizes Smuggled Goods, Narcotics Worth Rs. 515.3 Million

ISLAMABAD: Customs Enforcement Quetta, in a series of successful intelligence-based operations carried out in coordination with law enforcement agencies, has seized large consignments of smuggled goods and narcotics worth Rs. 515.30 million in the areas of Mastung and Manikhawa, according to an official statement.

The recovered consignments included foreign-origin narcotic hashish, Chinese salt, cigarettes, and assorted electronic goods. The seizures were made based on credible intelligence, reflecting the proactive enforcement strategy adopted by Customs Enforcement Quetta.

Officials said the operations underline Pakistan Customs’ continued commitment to curbing smuggling, combating illegal trade, and safeguarding the national economy. The timely support and effective coordination of Balochistan’s law enforcement agencies played a key role in the successful execution of these operations.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reiterated its firm resolve to intensify anti-smuggling efforts, curb illegal trade, and protect national revenue through coordinated enforcement actions across the country.
