TORKHAM: The Khasadar force foiled a bid of smuggling sniper guns from Afghanistan to Pakistan and arrested the peddlers, at the Torkham border of the khyber agency, on Sunday.
According to sources, the Torkham Khassadars personnel were on their routine duties at the Torkham gate when a truck bearing registration no (779-NGR) arrived.
The Khassadars personnel searched the truck in order to perform duties when 20 foreign-made sniper guns were found hidden in the cavities of the truck.
The Khassadars personnel arrested the driver Noor Gul and his accomplice Faizul Amin resident of Afghanistan and registered a case against him for arms smuggling Investigation was started by the arrested persons.
