WANA: At least two people were killed and 14 others were wounded when a remote-controlled blast occurred near a police van in the Wana Rustam Bazar area of Lower South Waziristan.
According to sources, the remote-controlled blast targeted the police van in Rustam Bazar. Two civilians were dead and 14 others were injured. The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital Wana, where several are reported to be in critical condition.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
