Khyber Police Seize 4 kg of Ice in Major Crackdown on Drug Smuggling

JAMRUD: In a major operation against drug smugglers, Khyber District Police recovered 4 kg of crystal meth (commonly known as ice) worth millions of rupees and arrested a key suspect, according to police sources.

The operation was conducted under the leadership of District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal as part of a district-wide crackdown on drug traffickers and their facilitators. SHO Jamrud Shah Khalid, along with Nawab Shah Shaheed Wazir Dhand Chowki in-charge Ittehad Afridi, led the special blockade that resulted in the arrest of Badshah Afghani, a resident of ShahKas Jmrud.

The suspect was found in possession of the drugs during a search and was immediately taken into custody. Police have registered a case and launched further investigations to dismantle the drug network. Authorities have vowed to continue their aggressive campaign against drug trafficking in the region.
