LANDIKOTAL: Unknown people killed a local resident in Alam khani area of Landikotal and fled from the scene, police said late Saturday night.
Additional Station House Officers Fazal Rehman Afridi and Ayaz Shinwari told this scribe that one 25-year-old Waqas son of Khadiq Shah Shinwari was found dead in Alamkhani locality in Landikotal. He took a bullet to the head. Police said the body was shifted to the district headquarters hospital, where it was handed over to the family. A first information report was filed and an investigation started. The reason for the murder, however, has yet to be determined, according to the police.
