WANA: At least two security personnel were killed and eight others were injured in a blast in the bypass Spin Jumaat area of Wana South Waziristan on Sunday night.
The martyred security personnel were identified as Nayeb Subedar Siraj and Sipahi Shams, and the injured security personnel were identified as Hawildar Syed Mohammad, Lance Naik Saqib, Lance Naik Zahid, Lance Naik Nadeem, Lance Naik Mir Mohammad, Sipahi Safdar, Sipahi Salar and Sipahi Khalid. The martyred and injured were shifted to the hospital.
The security forces launched a search operation in the area soon after the incident.
