RAWALPINDI: Two officials of the Pakistan Army were martyred during an area clearing operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram District on Tuesday, according to ISPR
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted after security forces had received reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
During intense exchange of fire with terrorists, Captain Basit, a 25-year-old resident of Haripur, and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, a 22-year-old resident of Orakzai embraced shahadat (martyrdom).
Three terrorists were also killed during the area operation.
