Three Pakistanis Died In Afghanistan Car Blast

PESHAWAR: Three Pakistani citizens died while another was injured when a roadside bomb hit their car in the Bermal locality in Afghanistan, some two kilometres from Pak-Afghan border Angor Adda on Monday.

Sources said that a huge blast happened when they were crossing by the remote control IED planted on the roadside.

They said that the incident happened on Monday in the Bermal locality of Paktika province in Afghanistan, some two kilometres from the Pak-Afghan border.

As the blast occurred people nearby rushed to the blast site and retrieved the bodies and injured persons. They were later shifted to the Pakistani side of the border where handed over to their family members.

Family sources said that the four persons in the car were on the way from home to the Bermal bazaar where the vehicle was targeted with a remote control bomb.

The injured and dead learnt to be from the Shehbaraz Gangikhel Wazir tribe.
Those who died in the blast were identified as Siddiqullah Wazir, Noor Wali Shah Wazir and Kher Muhammad Wazir
while Nisar Wazir was seriously injured. He was taken to the district headquarters hospital in Wana.
Acting medical superintendent of the district Headquarters Hospital Dr.Asif said the injured person was shifted to the hospital in Multan Punjab due to his critical health condition.
No group or individual yet claimed responsibility for the attack till filing this report.
