PESHAWAR: The current Pakistan Super League season will go on as planned despite the terror assault at the Karachi police headquarters on Friday, February 17, according to PCB chairman Najam Sethi. On Friday night, militants assaulted the Karachi Police Office (KPO) while wearing suicide vests, and brandishing firearms, and grenades.
According to a statement from PCB chairman Sethi, The PSL matches will continue as per schedule. All the players are being well looked after. they have been touched closely with all parties involved, including local and international security experts, who have assured them that the event can go on as planned since there is no danger to cricket.
On February 17, 2023, terrorists stormed the Karachi Police Department, which resulted in the martyrdom of four security personnel.
In the course of the assault, three terrorists were also slain.
Also, the three terrorists who attacked the police headquarters have been named by the authorities. Authorities claimed that North Waziristani Zala Nur, who had a run-in with security personnel, exploded the explosive vest attached to his body. Kifayat Ullah, a Lakki Marwat native, and Majeed, a resident of North Waziristan, also died in a battle with security personnel.
