PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police authorities have sent a summary for recruitment of sons of 199 Khasadar and Levies personnel who were martyred in attacks before the merger of tribal districts with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials said on Thursday.
An official said a committee headed by Additional Inspector General Awal Khan had sent the summary to the government. If approved, he added, the sons of 199 Khasadar and Levies will be recruited into the police force.
“Besides, a summary for recruitment of sons of those Khasadars who had not completed 10 years service and were not entitled to pension has also been sent to the government for approval,” said Director General Media and Public Relations Shahzada Kokab Farooq.
