Soldier martyred in South Waziristan IBO

PESHAWAR: A soldier of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom on Sunday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Senai Narai area of the South Waziristan district, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the military’s media wing, that the operation was conducted in South Waziristan’s Senai Narai area on reports of the presence of the terrorists.
ISPR said that during the intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Junaid, age 20 years old resident of Balakot, district Mansehra, embraced martyrdom.
It further said a cordon and search operation was underway for any terrorists found in the area.
