RAWALPINDI: Seven terrorists were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kurram district, the military’s media affairs wing said on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intense exchange of fire took place between the security forces and terrorists during the operation.
Seven terrorists were sent to hell, and five more terrorists were also injured.
The terrorist hideout was “busted and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
.The ISPR said that the dead terrorists were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.
The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the statement added.
